I became involved in this area (rights of girls, women) when I last travelled into some rural areas in Enugu state where there has never been electricity since the world began exept for rich men living in towns who come home, once in 10 years and buy a generator set. I saw the pains and the mosquitos as well as manutrition, sickness and stunted growth. After due consideration I decided to champion a public opinion in their favour and help them get out of the pain.

To answer this question I first have to say that I often find it difficult to obey authority figures who I feel are not justified in terms of the ways they lead others. Yet, I strongly agree that we all need leadership but leaders should be chosen democratically and their methods should be open to public critique. Thus, a good leader is one who will listen to their followers and will effectively compromise with them in order to ensure a clear vision for her or his organization, country,... Life is a rich open source of inspiration to all the open minds that that hope for change. A candid smile of a newborn child can give me more inspiration than a three hour long speech by a philosopher!
As a young activist, I do believe that i don't need a specific thing or moment to get inspired; all i need is wide open eyes toward nature, people, thoughts and all that exists in my environment.
